America

 Croak my friends,

Route 66, Statue of Liberty, McDonalds, skyscrapers, beautiful national parks usually come to your mind when somebody mentions the US.

If I image the US, there is much much more, there is an unforgettable picture full of amazing memories on my road trip in the front of my eyes,

I’ve been criss-crossing USA for some time in 2008. After spending there almost 3,5 month, starting with a student job through the program CCUSA (Camp Counselor USA) I considered that’s time to spend my “hard-made” money and have some fun on a great US road trip.

And well, I have to say, it was definitely worth that!:-)

My journey started with a tough question where to go. Hmm, honestly, I was totally indecisive (as usually:-)), ‘cause according to my friends, experienced trip advisors, every part of the US has some allure. When I was thinking about that in this way, I told myself: “ All right, Froggie,  what about seeing it all? You have to appraise it in your own opinion, so don’t hesitate, you never know, when you will have such a cool possibility again, pack your backpack and go!”

Short summary of the road trip:

Journey: let’s see the map:

Crew: me, my old friend IK and her best friend Denka with one American and a bunch of European friends (6ppl - mostly form UK, Ireland, 1 Swiss boy).

Transportation: a flight from Chicago (where we were working) to LA, then by a van from LA to NY

Accommodation: to save some money and to enjoy the last pleasant summer days, we always stayed at camps in tents around the way. Only in New Orleans and Las Vegas we spent the night in a hostel.
